I am currently putting the finishing touches to a new range of gorgeous handmade jewellery making kits, including European style jewellery making and other kits for children and adults. They come in a beautiful range of colours, including fairytale and film inspired themes, and are perfect for beginners as well as those with jewellery making experience. The kits feature a wide range of beads in different shapes, styles and finishes, together with a variety of stringing materials, charms and findings. The kits are prettily presented in eco-friendly packaging and make great gifts and creative projects.

european style Jewellery Making Kits
'European style' refers to large hole beads. They are perfectly suited to simple jewellery making using a variety of stringing materials and can be easily threaded onto ready-made bracelets, necklaces and other accessories. A single bead can be stunning used alone, whilst a collection of beads can be combined to charming effect. There are many styles available in a variety of materials. My kits include glass lampwork, Murano, crystal, Shamballa (clay base beads studded with glass crystals), metal, wood, porcelain, ceramic, natural lava stone, acrylic, resin and clay polymer beads, in a range of finishes including spray painted, AB (Aurora Borealis), pearlised and frosted, to name a few.
European style 'charms beads' thread directly onto the stringing materials or bracelet, sitting closer to the wrist for a sleaker, less dangly, style. These charm beads (popularised by the 'PANDORA' brand) come in different metals and finishes, such as enamel. Traditional charms can also be dangled from large hole 'bail' beads to add contrast to designs.
Many of my European style kits contain faux suede as the stringing material. This works perfectly to create a variety of different jewellery designs and accessories. I also have modular kits and add-ons incorporating ready made faux leather and silver plated bracelets, designed to accommodate European style beads and charm beads - perfect to mix and match with other beads and charms.
