Fun and inclusive crafting with a focus on sensory sensation and stimulation, available as a relaxed sit-down workshop or drop-in craft station. First we make magical sensory bottles. Metallic beads, mirrorred stars, shining sequins, sparkling glitter, and an array of luminescent and iridescent items magically float inside these mesmerising liquid-filled bottles! Your chosen ingredients can be added by hand, scoop or funnel, aided as necessary. Once your creation is complete, we’ll glue the lid on tight and the soothing snow-globe effects of the finished bottle can be enjoyed at home or on the go. Next choose a tactile craft to feel, tinkle, flutter or shine! Crafts [and actions involved] include: Fluttery recycled tin can* ribbon windsock [choosing colours, looping ribbon through tin tube, tying knots] Feely felt ball garland [choosing colours, threading with a semi-sharp needle] Shiny recycled glass jar* nightlight or garden lantern (including LED lights) [drawing a design onto the jar with permanent pens] Feely fingerprint or handprint art [pressing an inked finger - can wear a latex-free glove to avoid direct skin contact - onto a canvas to complete a pre-drawn design] Shiny UV colour change glow-in-the-dark jewellery and accessories [picking colours, threading large hole beads onto elastic cord, option to add threading glow poms with a semi-sharp needle] Fluttery tinkly recycled bottle* flower chime [drawing a design with permanent pens, choosing jingle bell colours, threading onto wire] Feely fluffy pom garland and shiny nightlight jar (including LED lights) [choosing colours, threading with a plastic needle, posting poms in jar] A fun and accessible craft party with a sensory theme and offering crafts to engage guests with different abilities, including those who may be assisted. For 13 or more guests I bring an assistant to make sure everything runs smoothly and all guests can be attended to, charged at £30. For 20 or more guests, I would recommend two assistants (£60). *All recycled materials are lovingly washed, stripped, filed, sanded, drilled and/or stencilled to prepare them for crafting. Any remaining adhesive residue or imperfections will be masked during the making process and are an inherent part of the eco crafting charm!
