AROMATHERAPY JEWELLERY WORKSHOP

Your Party or Workshop Experience

Create your own aromatherapy jewellery using natural lava stone beads. Set the lava amid a wide choice of glass, wood and metal beads and add your chosen essential oil to make unique aromatic accessories. You will make a bracelet and your choice of either earrings or a necklace, with a variety of sample styles to provide inspiration. Volcanic lava is naturally porous which creates the perfect pairing with your favourite essential oil. You can then wear your jewellery as a diffuser and enjoy the aroma and therapeutic benefits wherever you go. When essential oils are applied to the lava beads, the natural craters in the stone soak up the essential oil or blend. You can mix scents or wait until the original applied scent has dissipated (which may be from a few hours to a few days depending on the essential oil chosen). Whether you want to put a spring in your step, keep calm and carry on or just add balance to your day, aromatherapy jewellery is a natural, subtle and effective way to aid this. The workshop includes an interactive introduction to essential oils (discovering aromatherapy, the benefits of different oils, how to use oils safely, choosing your scent) and then we will learn some simple jewellery making techniques to design and create your chosen pieces. There is also the opportunity to explore different oils and add drops of your chosen oil to your jewellery. I am a trained NYR Organic Independent Consultant and we exclusively use Neal's Yard Remedies essentials oils in my workshops. Minimum group 6 guests Essential oils policy: If any workshop participant is suffering from a serious skin condition, epilepsy, asthma or taking any medication, please ensure they seek advice on the use of essential oils from a medical professional or qualified aromatherapist in advance. Participants determine the suitability of use of their chosen oil(s). Natural lava beads offer a safe method to diffuse oils though it is always recommended to do a skin test patch test for new products.
