Your Party or Workshop Experience

Create your own aromatherapy jewellery using natural lava stone beads. Set the lava amid a wide choice of glass, wood and metal beads and add your chosen essential oil to make unique aromatic accessories. You will make a bracelet and your choice of either earrings or a necklace, with a variety of sample styles to provide inspiration. For beginners as well as more experienced jewellery makers, this party is the perfect follow on to an aromatherapy Potions Class party (or vice versa) and offers a different style of jewellery making for those who've made jewellery before, with added aroma! Using jewellery making tools, simple techniques, a variety of findings, natural lava rock and a wide choice of beads and charms, you'll create lovely pieces ready to aromatise with essential oils. We exclusively use Neal's Yard essentials oils during the party; guests can choose from a selection of ethically and sustainably created organic oils to add to their pieces, or leave jewellery unfragranced if preferred. Volcanic lava is naturally porous which creates the perfect pairing with your favourite essential oil. You can then wear your jewellery as a diffuser and enjoy the aroma and therapeutic benefits wherever you go. When essential oils are applied to the lava beads, the natural craters in the stone soak up the essential oil or blend. You can mix scents or wait until the original applied scent has dissipated (which may be from a few hours to a few days depending on the essential oil chosen). Whether you want to put a spring in your step, stay focussed when studying, relax or just add balance to your day, aromatherapy jewellery is a natural, subtle and effective way to aid this. Party lasts around 2 hours, depending on age and ability. Essential oils policy: Natural lava beads offer a safe method to diffuse oils though it is always recommended to do a skin test patch test for new products. If any guest is suffering from a serious skin condition, epilepsy, asthma or taking any medication, please obtain parental permission to use oils in advance, alternatively pieces made can be left unscented.
