Each one of the pumpkins is handmade from a woollen felt ball, embroidered with a two tone thread to create ribs and then topped with a bead stalk.   As handmade decorations, sizes vary: they measure approx 20mm diameter.
 
Create your own pattern then thread the pumpkins onto the embroidery floss using the tapestry needle provided.  With 24 pumpkins and a full skein of thread (8m) there is plenty of scope to make your garland as long or as short as you like: snuggled together, the pumpkins cover approx 50cm; spaced 8cm apart they’ll make a garland almost 2.5m long.
 
With plenty of pumpkins and thread, you might like to make two matching garlands or divide the colours and make two completely different ones.  Or you may like to use some of your pumpkins and thread to make a bag dangler or other accessory.
